When architect Jan Izikowitz designed the house he drew inspiration from the world of opera.
But he did so also from the splendid fairytale landscape surrounding the Port of Gothenburg. Silhouettes of ship hulls, wind-filled sails, bridges and portal cranes can be discerned in the architecture of the edifice.
